Abstract
139,324. Waverley Cars, Ltd., and Watkins, A. A. March 25, 1919. Laminar springs.-Quarter-elliptic springs for the back axle of motor-vehicles are arranged in pairs on each side of the chassis, the springs in each pair being of different curvatures. The butt ends of the springs a, b are attached to a block e on the chassis, and the free ends are attached to a bracket c in which one end of the driving-axle is mounted. The upper spring a is of less curvature and may be longer than the lower spring b.
