Abstract

1392711 Wigs TOP-PIECE Ltd 11 April 1972 [1 Feb 1971] 3569/71 Heading A4V A toupee comprises a base, hairs extending from the topside of the base, and hooks attached to the underside of the base around part of its periphery whereby the toupee can be secured to braiding formed by the natural hairs of the patient's head. In the embodiment of Fig. 1, metal or plastics hooks 18 are secured to a rubber elastic band 14. A strip of self-adhesive tape 26 is provided at the front of the toupee. In the embodiment of Fig. 4 (not shown), hooks (34) are secured by respective elastic bands (36). The embodiment of Fig. 5 has hooks provided by a strip comprising hooked pile elements. The toupees may be in accordance with invention of Specification 1255272.
