Abstract

1370539 Wigs B L TOMLINSON 25 Feb 1972 [10 Sept 1971] 8839/72 Heading A4V [ Also in Division A3] A combination wig and head-dress e.g. a cap 12, comprises a wig 13 which extends around an inside periphery of the cap 12 and is removably secured thereto by complementary strips of filamentary hook and loop fastener material carried by the cap 12 and the wig 13. The wig 13 may extend around the back part of the cap as slam or the cap may be in the form of a cloche hat with the wig extending around the complete periphery thereof. As a further alternative the head-dress may be replaced by a visor with a band for securing on a wearers head and a full wig may be removably attached to the band. The combination allows the possibility of interchangeable wigs and hats which may be readily attached and detached one from the other.
