Abstract

1322215 Face lift devices L HEALE 29 July 1970 [19 Nov 1969] 36804/70 Addition to 1300041 Heading A5R A face lift device comprises an anchor member 2 in the form of a skull cap conformable to the crown of the head and a plurality of tension members 13, or 38 securable at their one ends to the member 2 and carrying adhesive at their other ends for securement of said other ends to a marginal portion of the user's face. The anchor member may be secured to the head by means of pins or by the provision of a central aperture 9 through which a lock of hair is passed. The adhesive end portions of members 13 or 38 may be of enlarged width relative to the central portion of the tension members. Said one end portion of each tension member may be retained in one of a plurality of spaced apertures 21 in member 2 by a knot 22, by adhesive means (23), Fig. 7 (not shown) or a fitting comprising anchor like hooks (24), Fig. 8 (not shown) engaging in felt-like fibres (26). Alternatively said one end portions may be secured directly to the anchor member adhesively at 28, by hooks 31 engaging in felted fibres 29, or by adhesively attaching said one portions to anchor portions 33 adhered to or integral with member 2.
