Abstract

1391706 Ventilation ducts SOC ANON DES ETABS NEU 20 April 1972 [23 April 1971] 18321/72 Heading F4V A duct for distributing water saturated air comprises side walls each formed by two longtudinally extending panels of unequal width, each panel being integral or formed by separate panel portions, the less wide panel of one or both side walls having an air outlet 8, and the wider panel 5 of each side wall being solid and disposed either above or below the other panel of the respective side wall. The less wide panel may include a plurality of spaced or juxtaposed outlets 8. Each outlet 8 comprises fixed louvre blades (Fig. 5) defining zig-zag paths for the air flow from the duct. Outlets at the upstream end of the duct may be provided with deflectors to maintain an airflow across these outlets to outlets downstream thereof. A water collecting tray 9 is provided. The duct is made of metal.
