1385958 Lifts LINDEN-ALIMAK AB 24 May 1972 [26 May 1971] 24402/72 Heading B8L A portable lift unit for use in ships comprises a lift shaft 1 formed from jointed frame sections and including lugs 5 by which the unit may be lifted into and out of a position of operation on a ship where the shaft depends through a hole in the deck and is suspended on beams 8 secured to a frame section. Doors 10 and stop level bars 11 are movably adjustable along the shaft, to suit local requirements, and the lift cage may be operated by cable or rack.
