Abstract

1385262 Paper-making apparatus ISHLKWAJIMA-HARIMA JUKOGYO KK 23, May 1972 [24 May 1971] 24228/72 Heading D2A A web W3 formed on a wire S is laminated with a web carried by a felt as the wire and the felt with the webs sandwiched between them pass round a roll 4. The wire S passes from a breast roll 2 over forming boards, table rolls or suction boxes 7, 8 and white water from savealls 9, 9' may be separately recovered and recirculated. The laminated webs may travel on the felt to be laminated with other webs in a similar manner, the webs thereafter being pressed and dried. The wire S is washed at 10, 12 before returning to the breast roll 2, at jet 11 trims the web W3 to the desired width. In a second embodiment, Fig. 6 (not shown), the roll 3 is dispensed with.
