Abstract
1385097 Tungsten halogen lamp PATENTTREUHAND-GES FUR ELEKTRISCHE GLUHLAMPEN mbH 4 Aug 1972 [10 Aug 1971] 36584/72 Heading H1F A tungsten halogen lamp comprises a tungsten filament and an inert gas filling the filling containing fluorine and oxygen in equimolar amounts. The inert gas may be argon or nitrogen. The lamp envelope may be of quartz, hard or ordinary glass. The lamp may be double or single-ended. It is said that the compound WO2F2 forms within the envelope during operation.
