Abstract
1384959 Pressure exchangers BBC BROWN BOVERI & CO Ltd 30 March 1972 [2 April 1971] 15230/72 Heading F1N To match the performance of a pressure exchanger to a particular application the end housings 1, 2 thereof are provided with removable end plates 11, 16, whereby different sized rotors 4 can be fitted and either the inlet and outlet orifices in the end plates modified to suit or replacement end plates with the required orifices fitted. The rotors are of the same axial length, their cross-sections being determined by the size of their hubs 4 or their shrouds 6.
