Abstract

1382181 Compressionable moulding sealed against a die NAHMASCHINENWERK WITTENBERGE VEB 26 June 1972 29852/72 Heading B5A To mould material 16, a membrane 10, airtightly supported on a plate 3 is forced by compressed air to press the material against a die 1; as shown in Fig. 3, an elastic sealing element 7 located in the rolled over edge 6 of the plate 3 seals the membrane. A supporting rib 8 on the sealing element urges the inner edge portion 9 against the membrane so that the portion 9 presses against the membrane with a force which increases with the air pressure.
