1381512 Making lead alloys PREUSSAG AG-METALL 7 April 1972 [8 April 1971] 16197/72 Heading C7D A dispersion hardened lead alloy, which is resistant to selective corrosion, is produced by treating a lead melt with a corrosive substance (e.g. a gas) to form a corrosion product (e.g. oxide, nitride, fluoride, chloride, bromide or iodide) with a hardener element (e.g. Ba, Ca, K, Ti, Al, Zn, Tl, Ge, Sn, Cd, Bi or Sb) included in the melt, holding the corrosion product in suspension and allowing the melt to set solid.
