Abstract

1381007 Heat-developable photographic material EASTMAN KODAK CO 15 March 1972 [15 March 1971] 12163/72 Heading G2C A heat-developable photographic material comprises a photo-sensitive silver halide, a light-stable metal salt oxidizing agent (preferably silver behenate), a bis-naphthol reducing agent and a 1, 3-dihydroxy benzene reducing agent. Oxidizing and reducing agents and proportions thereof are specified. There may also be present an image stabilizer (or precursor), spectral sensitizing dye, divalent metal salt image amplifier, activatortoning agent, conventional silver halide developing agent, binder (e.g. polyvinyl butyral), and non- aqueous solvent. The silver halide and other materials may be in the same or separate layers.
