Abstract
1480653 Photographic heat-developable materials EASTMAN KODAK CO. 2 Jan 1975 [2 Jan 1974] 71/75 Heading G2C A light-sensitive photographic heat-developable material comprises coated in one or more layers on a support, (a) a light-insensitive reducible silver salt e.g. silver behenate, (b) an organic reducing agent e.g. a sulphonamido phenol, (c) a separately prepared synthetic polymerpeptized photo-sensitive silver halide, (d) a synthetic polymer binder e.g. poly, vinyl butyral, and (e) ammonium or an alkali-metal iodide e.g. lithium, sodium or potassium iodide. The material may also contain a cyclic imide toner e.g. succinimide and a spectrally sensitizing dye. The photosensitive silver halide may be prepared by reacting lithium bromide with silver trifluoroacetate in the presence of poly, vinyl butyral, in acetone.
