Abstract

1380610 Fuel injection nozzles ROBERT BOSCH GmbH 28 April 1972 [29 April 1971] 19757/72 Heading F1B A fuel injection nozzle 3 has a transverse shoulder 7 intermediate its ends and a fluid connection 14 at right angles to its axis further from the nozzle outlet then the shoulder, a sleeve 6 with an outer screw thread 5 for engagement in a threaded bore in a cylinder head 2 surrounding the nozzle between the fluid connection and the shoulder. The distance A is less than distance B so that unfastening the sleeve 6 exerts a force to pull the nozzle from the bore 1. The nozzle is prevented from rotating by a pin 11 which engages in a groove 12 in bore 1, the pin 11 being located in a bore 10 at right angles to the nozzle axis.
