Abstract

1376200 Doors for ovens or solid fuel heaters RADIATION Ltd 5 July 1972 31409/72 Heading F4W A solid fuel heater or a cooker oven comprises an opening closable by an inner door 3 and an outer door 4 which are independently pivotable on common pivot pins 2 the doors 3, 4 being provided with windows 5, 6 respectively. The windows 5, 6 are formed by glass strips and a glass pane respectively, and a raised edge around the window 5 is in contact with an asbestos rope 11 around the window 6 when the doors are held together by a wing nut engaging a threaded stud 9. Both doors may be lifted from the pivot pins 2. Openings 12 permit entry of combustion air to the space between windows 5 and 6. Specification 1,291,861 is referred to.
