Abstract

1331585 Cooking ovens MOULINEX SA 7 Feb 1972 [8 Feb 1971] 5631/72 Heading F4W An electric cooking appliance comprises a spit compartment 10 above an oven compartment 12 in a common housing, the compartments being separated by a partition 22 preferably of glass wool. The spit compartment has a single electrical heating element 14 in the upper region of the compartment, and the opening to the compartment has a door 28, which when closed leaves ventilation apertures 30, 32. The oven compartment 12 has electrical heating elements 18 and 16 in the upper and lower regions of the compartment respectively, and the door to this compartment substantially covers the opening when closed although some hot air may escape along the upper edge. Preferably each compartment has catalytic self-cleaning walls. (For Figure see next column.)
