Abstract

The self-cleaning baking oven with oven-chamber is cooled by natural convection and, for this purpose, has an inlet with fresh air all along the lower part of the front-side and three independent outlets in the upper part of the front. The first outlet is assigned to a chamber enclosing the electrical control-device, the second outlet communicates with the interior of the oven-chamber by way of an outlet-pipe for fumes and is connected with a catalytic device for the fumes from the interior of the oven-chamber, the third outlet is assigned to a space enclosing, partially at least, the lateral and upper heat-insulation of the oven chamber. The device is relatively noise-free and avoids a blast of hot air hitting the user. There is no need for additional safety-device for interrupting cleaning in case of fan breakdown.
