Doors for cooking stoves or ovens comprise a series of metal strips e with bent interlocking edges, forming a flexible shutter; the edges of the shutter slide in tracks formed between ribs b<2> projecting from the sides of the oven, the top b<3> of the oven, plates a' secured to the front, and the back. The oven shown is intended to be mounted on the top of a boiler stove, the construction of door allowing the oven to be opened or closed without the interference with utensils on the hot-plate caused by hinged doors.
