Abstract
435,320. Gas cooking-stoves. FLAVEL, P. W., c/o Eagle Foundry, Leamington, Warwickshire. March 19, 1934, No. 8639. [Class 126] A gas cooking-stove comprising an oven 3 and hot-plate 10 is enclosed in an open-backed casing 1, 2 having doors 6 in front of the oven door and a hinged lid 25 to provide access to the hot-plate. The casing is secured to the back of the stove by bolts passing through the strips 2. The doors 6 are each fitted on the inner side with a pocket 19 for cloths &c. and with a fitting which consists of a plate 12 carrying, at its upper end, a rack 15 for cooking implements and, at its lower end, a drip-tray 16. The lid 25 fits over the upper edges of the doors 6 so as to lock them in the closed position, and on the top of the stove there is mounted a collapsable frame carrying a plate rack and splash plate as described in Specifications 420,739 and 423,638 and interlocking with the lid 25 as described in Specification 425,334. Detachable side wings 70 are provided as described in Specification 422,822. Specification 424,097 also is referred to.
