Abstract

436,568. Mounting plate-racks on stoves. FLAVEL, P. W., Eagle Foundry, Leamington Spa. March 1, 1935, No. 6566. [Class 126] A plate-rack 6 is pivotally mounted in a frame 4 hinged at 5 to the stove top and adapted in the raised position to interlock with notches 9 in stop, 8 carried by a supporting frame 2 hinged at 3 to the stove. The plate - rack 6 is supported horizontally by engagement with the supporting frame 2, in the construction shown being formed with notches 11 in which engage teeth 10 on the stops 8. The notches 9 in the stops shown have inclined surfaces corresponding to the inclination of the frame 4 when it is raised. The frame 2 may, as shown, carry a hot-plate lid 13 and splash-plate 12.
