430,103. Cooking-ovens. STILES, H., Utility House, Lynchford Road, Farnborough, Hampshire. Feb. 1, 1934, No. 3339. [Class 126] A cooking-oven comprises an imperforate heat - insulating partition 6 fitting closely against the sides, back, and door lining of the oven, means to support it at an adjustable height so as to divide the oven into two chambers of adjustable size, burners or heating- elements at the top and bottom of the oven, and a two-part door consisting of a large-size lower member 10 and small size upper member 8. In the construction shown the partition 6 is supported in grooves extending round the sides and back of the oven ; alternatively, the grooves may be replaced by runners. The partition may consist of an asbestos sheet in a metal frame. The abutting edges 11 of the doors 8, 10 are downwardly and inwardly inclined, so that the upper door is held closed by the lower.
