1370528 Watches OMEGA LOUIS BRANDT & FRERE SA 5 April 1972 [6 April 1971 15 Sept 1971] 15557/72 Heading G3T A watch comprises a middle part 24 having at most one shoulder 29, and a glass 26 and back 25 which are fitted in the part 24 with interposing gaskets 28, 27 and retained therein by frictional engagement only. Spacing is determined by a distance ring 23 which also holds movement 22. The watch may be dismantled by applying pressure on the back 25 to push all the inner parts through the part 24. Alternatively the back 25 only may be removed by forcing in compressed air via a winding stem bore, or by providing a peripheral groove (32), Fig. 9 (not shown) in the back for engagement by a tool. The movement holding ring may be integral with the back (35), Fig. 11 (not shown) which is then provided with a shoulder (35a) to limit insertion in the middle part (34). The gasket (36) retaining the back is then of sleeve form. The shoulder on the middle part may face in either direction or be omitted. In the latter case, the axial depth of insertion of the glass is determined by assembly tools Figs. 2, 3 (not shown) and determines the depth of insertion of the back. The middle part is of a hard material such as a metallic carbide or a precious or semiprecious stone.
