136,719. Lautour, E. L. de, and Tyler, W. C. Feb. 24, 1919. No Patent granted (Sealing fee not paid). Mop wringers. - In a combined mop and mop-wringer, the water is squeezed from the mop material 1 by a pair of curved members 2 mounted on the pivoted arms 3 and adapted to be moved relatively to the mop material. The mop head, sleeve 5, and pawls 7 are secured together and connected by wires to a movable sleeve 12. When this sleeve is moved along the mop handle 13, the mop head &c. are moved relatively to the members 2 against the spring 10, and the pawls engage the arms 3 and force the members 2 into engagement with the mop material. The pawls are arranged to reach the part 8 or the arms 3, thereby releasing the squeezing-members 2 as they reach the end of the mop head. Upon the return movement of the mop head &c. under the action of the spring 10, the pawls are adapted to fall clear so as not to operate the arms 3.
