Abstract

200,894. Goddard, K. M. A. April 19, 1922. Holders with clamping-devices for mops.-An appliance for cleaning windows, &c., comprises two members 1, 2., hinged together at their rear ends and normally pressed towards each other by springs 8, the members being shaped triangularly at their front end and being provided each with a flat spring 12 to hold parts of a duster, &c., gripped by the members. A plate 9 may be formed with or attauhed to the member 2 to act as a stop for the member 1 when in the open position. The member 2 is formed with or has attached thereto a socket-piece 10 to receive the end of a handle 11, which may be telescopic but is preferably made in sections with socket-pieces.
