120,749. Dorrien, M. L. H. Smith-. Sept. 25, 1917. Pads and like polishing appliances.-An appliance for cleaning windows of the kind having pads 6 hinged or spring mounted at both ends of the handle, comprises two handle members 1, 2 slidably and detachably connected so that each can be used separately or the two connected together and the whole adjusted as to length. The members 1, 2, as shown., are formed with holes 3 and are secured together when adjusted by a pin 4. The two members may be formed as telescopic tubes.
