Abstract

Push-bars.-A perambulator or like handle A' carried by pivoted siderods A so that it can be positioned at either end of the body is provided with a spigot and socket or like joint C, Fig. 5, so that the side-rods may be opened out to clear the hood or other obstruction when the handle is being reversed, means being provided to secure the side-rods in either position with the joint closed up. As shown, semi-cylindrical seats F are secured at the ends of the body to receive the side-bars which are held in engagement therewith by sliding sleeves G carried by the sidebars.
