Abstract

27,149. Frost, W. Nov. 22. Extincteurs.- Relates to holders for extincteurs, of the kind consisting of a band adapted to encircle the extincteur and formed in two parts, which are hinged together and are provided with locking and unlocking means. As shown in plan in Fig. 2, the fixed part A of the band has a foot or bracket B fixed thereon, by which the holder is secured by screws &c. to a wall, motor-car, &c. The hinged part A' is provided at its free end with a knuckle, to which are jointed a pair of links D; between the other ends of these links is jointed a two-armed lever, one arm E of which serves as a handle, while the other arm E<1> is formed with a cross-piece adapted to fit in a socket or catch at the end of the fixed part A.
