Abstract

26,718. Lunn, A. B. Nov. 17. Hoods.-The bows of cape-.cart and other hoods are adapted to be separated and supported in their lowered position by a pair of members a, b pivoted together at c and mounted upon the vehicle body by a lug j sliding on the rod i. The member b is recessed at d to accommodate the bows and is locked in the vertical position by an arm f rotatably mounted upon a pin b' adapted to pass through a slot in the member a. In a modification, Fig. 4, the member b is adapted to yield against a spring n. The lower end of the member b passes through a slot m in the member a in this case.
