[Class 19] Mop material A is doubled over an open ring 18 and held by an elastic holder 9 of wire through which the mop can be pressed to squeeze out water and whereby more or less of the mop may protrude for use. The holder 9 is doubled back as shown in Fig. 2, with ends 2 secured in a shaft 6. The hook member 18 is slotted and pivoted at 15 to a lever 11 itself pivoted at 15 to a handle 11. Movement of the lever 11 operates the hook 18 in or out of the ring 9.
