Abstract

1366821 Fibreglass boats WINNER BOATS 5 April 1972 15623/72 Headings B7A and B7S A fibreglass reinforcement (shown inverted in Fig. 2) for securing to the interior of the bilge of an open fibreglass boat has upwardly and downwardly open channels in which air pressurized floats 32 and 38 are located. The floats are held in place and covered by fibreglass mats, Fig. 3 (not shown). After the reinforcement is secured to the boat, it is covered by a deck comprising a layer of plywood sandwiched between two layers of fibreglass, Fig. 6 (not shown). The sides, transome and a transverse partition of the boat may also contain floats, Fig. 7 (not shown).
