Abstract

1361245 Projectiles TAMPELLA AB OY 20 Oct 1971 [21 Oct 1970] 48676/71 Heading F3A A fin stabilized projectile for launching from a motor comprises a tubular propellant powder member 10a forming part of a cartridge screwed into the rear end of a perforated tail pipe 2 of the projectile. The member 10a is supported on a sleeve 11 and is ignitable by means of a powder plug 20. The perforations 4 leading to an auxiliary propellant charge 22 are optionally closed by a sleeve 24 of combustible material.
