1359706 Tie bolts RAPID METAL DEVELOPMENTS Ltd 24 May 1972 [6 July 1971] 31582/71 Heading F2H A straight tie bolt, e.g. of high tensile steel, for embedding in settable concrete has at least one end 11 externally screw-threaded and has a basically circular cross-section, but is formed such as by pressing with a plurality of substantially identical pairs of opposed substantially-identical concave depressions 12-16, as shown, to anchor the bolt in the concrete. Both ends of the tie bolt may be externally screw-threaded.
