[Class 20(iv)] A reinforcement bar has diametrically opposed sets of lugs 13, 14 inclined relatively to the bar's longitudinal axis and extending round most of the semi-circumference with a side face 15 disposed at an angle G to the bar radius not less than R-S, where ten R = .675#(10B) x #4 (pass diameter) and S = .10/B, B being the height of the lug and the pass diameter the outside diameter of the rolling mill rolls minus twice the depth of the pass groove. Diametrically opposed longitudinal ribs 11 may separate the lug sets and the inclination of one set may be the same as or opposite to that of the other. Also the lugs of one set may be staggered in relation to the others. Specification 646,801, [Group XXII], is referred to.
