A concrete pile section has in each end a centrally located internally threaded member (nuts 3, 4, 10) secured to reinforcement (rods 1, 2, 11, 12) extending substantially the length of the section and arranged to receive a mating externally threaded member (bolt 9) whereby sections may be connected together.
