Abstract

1,089,510. Anchoring bolts. C. I. WILLIAMS. April 18, 1966 [June 25, 1965]. No. 16899/66. Heading F2H. An anchor for a hollow bolt rod 10 comprises separable portions 15 and 16 on opposite sides of the rod interconnected by a U-shaped member 17 extending over the end of the bolt, a wedgeshaped member 14 in threaded engagement with the rod interposed between the portions, and a passage 20 in the member 17 communicating with the bore 13 of the rod 10. The passage 20, 13 functions as a vent or a grout inlet.
