Means for connecting together wooden beams and the like comprises an annulus 1 of steel or other metal having triangular teeth 2 bent perpendicular to the annulus and a threaded nut 4 fixed centrally in the annulus. Alternate teeth may project on opposite sides of the annulus. The nut may be fixed by swaging as at 5.
