Toothed gearing.-The crank a is fast to an open disk a<1> having rollers or pins a<2> at rightangles thereto in mesh with a spur-wheel b eccentrically mounted in rear of the crank axle a<3> by a disk b<1>. The spur-wheel carries pins or rollers b<4> in mesh with a gear or sprocket-wheel c on the rear wheel hub. Two disks b<1>, united by a sleeve b<2> passing through the hub, are each secured to the frame by crescent-shaped jaws d cranked to clear the pins b', and carried by arms d<1> secured to the rear forks at each side. Free-wheel mechanism is arranged in the sprocket-wheel c or the spur-wheel b. The mechanism may be duplicated at each side of the machine.
