Abstract

1350880 Doffing FRIED KRUPP GmbH 6 Oct 1972 [8 Oct 1971] 46273/72 Heading DID Cops are lifted from spindles on a ring spinning frame by tandem fork rails 1 which engage under the cops to lift them. The fork rails comprise vertically movable supports 2, rods and chains 6, 5 and a threaded rod for moving the fork rails. As shown, bobbins are doffed by forks 28 on rail 1 when the rail is lifted by motor 16 and the rods and chains linkage. The rods 6 can comprise lost motion links so that one fork rail are lifted after the other. Forks 19 may lift the ring rails simultaneously.
