Abstract

1349053 Containers KINKI PRINTING CO Ltd 9 June 1972 [11 June 1971 15 May 1972] 27107/72 Heading B8P A container comprises a receptacle slidably received in an outer case which is open at one end, the receptacle having a deformable hollow end wall structure accessible through a notch at the open end of the case to facilitate removal of the receptacle. The receptacle X is erected from the blank shown in Fig. 6A, the hollow wall structure comprising panels 17, 21 and 22 and being held in place by a flap 26 having lugs 28, 281 which engage notches 6, 6<SP>1</SP> formed in the double side walls 3, 5 and 3<SP>1</SP>, 5<SP>1</SP>. The other end wall of the receptacle comprises a vertical panel 8 and a sloping panel 13 and is held erect by a flap 15 having lugs 27, 27<SP>1</SP> which engage the notches 6, 6<SP>1</SP>. The panels 13, 21, 22 have partially detached areas 11, 12, 23, 24 defining recesses to accomodate the ends of articles in the receptacle. In a modification, the panels 13, 15 are replaced by a flap (55), the side walls are of a single thickness, the recesses 23, 24 are omitted and the flap 26 is glued to the receptacle base.
