Abstract

1335788 Box CARTONAJES UNION SA 21 Aug 1972 [21 Aug 1972] 38925/72 Heading B8P In a box erected from a blank folded to U- shape to form a base 1 and front and rear walls, sheets 7 hinged to a pair of side panels 3, 5 overlie the base 1 and each side wall comprises four layers formed by sandwiching a pair of doubly folded side panels 3<1>, 5<1> hinged to the rear wall between a pair of the side panels 3, 5 which are hinged to the front wall. Tabs 6 on the panels 5<1> engage in openings 8 in the sheets 7 and tabs 9 on a lid forming portion 2<11> are engageable in slots 10 in transition zones 4<1> between the portions forming the panels 3, 5. The box includes various apertures 11, 12, 13, 13<1> and 14 are shown. A double thickness partition (Figs. 1 and 2) for use with the box includes end flaps (17) which lie against the front and rear walls and have cut-outs corresponding to those in the front and rear walls.
