Abstract

1415705 Cartons CARTOTECNICA EUROPA CARTON SpA 33682/73 Heading B8P A carton, formed from a blank (Fig. 1, not shown), comprises double side walls folded up from a base 1 and interconnected by gussets 34, each double side wall consisting of an outer side panel 23, a top panel 24, an inner side panel 25 and a panel 26 adapted to lie over the base 1 and having one or more portions which abut the inner surface of the outer panel 23. The top panels 24 of a first pair of opposite side walls have extensions 22 which lie under the top panels of the other pair of opposite side walls, while the inner panels 25 of said other pair of side walls carry side tabs 27 arranged to lie at right angles to these panels 25 and to abut the under surfaces of the extensions 22. Side extensions 26<SP>1</SP> on the panels 26 of the other pair of opposite side walls slide under the inner panels 25 of the first pair of side walls.
