Abstract

1348551 Spray carburettors BENDIX CORP 28 May 1971 [8 June 1970] 17938/71 Heading F1B A carburettor has a valve 18 responsive to air flow in a passage 12 to control fuel delivery to the air stream and rotatable about pivot 20, whereby an edge 24 of the valve moves from close to the passage wall to upstream of the pivot and is characterized by a baffle 22 to assist the valve to move to the wide open position by generating a low pressure zone in the region 26. The baffle 22 may be in the form of a curved inverted isosceles triangle, Fig. 4 (not shown).
