Abstract
1344894 Pipe couplings; valves SOC SBF 25 Oct 1971 [30 Oct 1970] 49442/71 Headings F2G and F2V An interchangeable core 6 interconnects a selection of the four or more radial passageways 2, 2a, 2b and 2c formed in a mounting block 1, so that, on unscrewing the end fittings 14, 15 and 16, the core 6 may be withdrawn from the block 1, by sliding it in an axial direction. A replacement core may effect other interconnections to change the fluid circuit. The core is preferably of stainless steel to resist corrosion and high pressure. The pintle valve 10 may be replaced by a further pipe end fitting or by a check valve (30, Fig. 2, not shown).
