Abstract

1344034 Bridles for brushes CORONET - WERKE HEINRICH SCHLERF GmbH 24 March 1972 [25 March 1971] 14039/72 Heading A4K [Also in Division B4] In a brush having a bridle 3 through which the bristles 7 extend, the effective length and hence the flexibility of the bristles is adjustable by movement of the bridle towards and away from a bristle carrying plate 2, movement of the bridle being effected by rotation of a cover 1 having an internally screw threaded shaft 5 in engagement with a threaded pin 6 on the bridle. Rotation of the cover is limited to one revolution by the abutment of pins 10, 11 arranged on the plate 2 and cover 1 respectively. The brushing surface may be undulating or formed with pyramid-like points Figs. 7 and 8 (not shown). A handle (17) Figs. 4 and 5 (not shown) may be fitted on to the cover.
