A PET BRUSH
BACKGROUND OF INVENTION
1. Field of the Invention
The present invention relates generally to a pet brush, and more particularly to one which can be adjusted and operated easily since a positioning and control mechanism is coupled with a positioning seat through circular displacement, making it possible to control the length of brush rod of brush seat for flexible applications.
2. Description of Related Art
A pet brush generally comprises a coupling seat with handle, a brush seat and several brush rods, wherein the brush seat is assembled underneath the coupling seat, and several brush rods are penetrated from the lower part of brush seat to shape a pet brush structure.
Give the fact of different lengths of pet hair, the fixed-length brush rods of aforementioned pet brush have to fit the actual length, leading to poorer practicality.
Thus, to overcome the aforementioned problems of the prior art, it would be an advancement if the art to provide an improved structure that can significantly improve the efficacy.
Therefore, the inventor has provided the present invention of practicability after deliberate design and evaluation based on years of experience in the production, development and design of related products.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
The enhanced efficacy of the present invention is as follows: 1. The positioning and control mechanism of the present invention is used to adjust the length of brush rod of brush seat for pet hair of different length.
2. The pressing body of the present invention is pressed down so that the locating rod of positioning and control mechanism can be embedded into the guide groove of column of the pressing body; then the brush rods will become shorter with the fall down of positioning seat; when the pressing body is pressed again, the locating rod and positioning seat shift to original position, so the brush rods becomes longer for easier operation.
3. When the pressing body of the pet brush is pressed and the positioning seat is pushed, the pet hair adhered onto the brush rods shift to the end of brush rods for easy removal and cleaning purpose.
Although the invention has been explained in relation to its preferred embodiment, it is to be understood that many other possible modifications and variations can be made without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention as hereinafter claimed.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
The features and the advantages of the present invention will be more readily understood upon a thoughtful deliberation of the following detailed description of a preferred embodiment of the present invention with reference to the accompanying drawings.
FIGS. l-2 depict preferred embodiments of pet brush of the present invention, wherein the pet brush comprises a coupling seat 10 with handle 11, a brush seat 20, several brush rods 21 and a positioning frame 30; the brush seat is positioned at the bottom of the coupling seat 10, several brush rods 21 are penetrated from the bottom of the brush seat 20; a positioning frame 30 with open groove 31 is assembled to link the brush seat 20 and coupling seat 10, while the brush rod 21 extends from the positioning frame's groove 31 to form a pet brush; the major improvement of the present invention lies in: Referring to FIGS. 3 and 4 (in collaboration with FIG. 1), the positioning and control mechanism 50 comprises a pressing body 51, a locating rod 15, an elastic component 16 (a spring in this embodiment) and a positioning seat 40, wherein the pressing body 51 includes a rectangular column 52 and a pressing portion 59 assembled onto the upper part of the column 52; a bulge 53 with inward inclined surface 531 is assembled symmetrically at both sides of the column 52; two parallel limitation plates 54 are arranged longitudinally at one side of the column 52; the upper and lower guide blocks 55, 56 are arranged between two limitation plates 54; of which the upper guide block 55 is assembled onto upper part of two limitation plates 54, which is linked to two obliquely arranged del guide blocks 551, 553 from right to left side; these two guide blocks 551, 553 are provided with the first oblique surface 552 and second oblique surface 554; a del lower guide block 56 is placed within the left limitation plate 54; moreover, a V-shaped stop block 57 is arranged between limitation plate 54 and upper/lower guide blocks 55, 56, wherein the right block of the stop block 57 is slightly longer than the left one, forming a circulating guide groove 58; additionally, a coupling portion 12 with extension slot 13 is arranged on the upper part of the coupling seat 10, and a locating column 14 is arranged within the extension slot 13; a trench 141 is assembled centrally into the locating column 14 for insertion of a L-shaped locating rod 15; two parallel oblong through-grooves 131 are arranged at both sides of the extension slot 13, so that the column 52 of pressing body 51 is inserted into the extension slot 13 of coupling portion; furthermore, a first folding portion 151 is formed on the upper hand of locating rod 15, so that the first folding portion 151 is embedded onto starting point 0 of pressing body's guide groove 58; a second folding portion 152 is formed from the bottom of the locating rod 15 for assembly into the locating column trench 141; an elastic component 16 is sleeved between the second folding portion 152 of locating rod 15 and the locating column 14; the upper part of the elastic component 16 flexibly supports the bottom of column 52 of the pressing body 51, so that the locating rod 15 on the locating column 14 may shift correspondingly to the column guide groove 58; in collaboration with the elastic component 16 and column 52, the locating rod 15 makes it possible for piloting and locating; a few rows of open grooves 41 are arranged onto the positioning seat 40 correspondingly to multiple brush rods 21 on the brush seat 20; two parallel connecting rods 42 are arranged centrally onto the positioning seat 40, while a caulking groove 43 is positioned transversely onto the connecting rod 42, so that two connecting rods 42 of the positioning seat 40 penetrate upwardly the groove 31 of positioning frame 30, two through-grooves 22 of the brush seat 20 as well as extension slot 13 of the coupling seat 10. So, the brush rod 21 can penetrate the positioning seat's open groove 41, while two connecting rods 42 are coupled securely via caulking groove 43 with two bulges 53 at both ends of column 52 of pressing body 51, thus forming a
suitable pet brush;
FIGS. 5 and 6 depict the operating diagram of positioning and control mechanism 50 of the present invention. When the user presses manually the pressing body 51, the locating rod 15 on the locating column 14 will move upwardly along with the first channel 581 of column guide groove 58, and shift to the locating point a along the oblique surface 552 of the second channel 582; meanwhile, the pressing body 51 drives the positioning seat 40 to shift downwards; referring to FIGS. 7 and 8, when the manual pressure is released, the locating rod 15 shifts to the depressed locating point b of stop block 57 due to the elastic force of elastic component 16; the positioning seat 40 can thus be positioned securely even if the user releases the manual control; as the positioning seat 40 shifts downwards, the brush rods 21 protruded from the positioning seat 40 will become shorter, forming a suitable pet brush; when the user presses again the pressing body 51, the locating rod 15 shifts upwards to locating point c along the oblique surface 554 of the third channel 583; when the manual pressure is released, the locating rod 15 may fall down and shift to the starting point 0 along the oblique surface 561 of the fourth channel 584 due to the elastic force of elastic component 16 (as shown in FIG. 4) meanwhile the positioning seat 40 is resumed to original position; As the aforementioned locating rod 15 shifts circularly in the guide groove 58 of the pressing body 51, when the pressing body 51 is pressed, the length of the brush rod 21 could be adjusted, thus providing a flexible and applicable pet brush.
It is worthy to note that, when the pressing body 51 of the present invention is pressed so that the locating rod shifts to the highest position of locating point a, the positioning seat 40 falls down to the lowest position, meanwhile the pet hair adhered onto the brush rods 21 shift to the end of brush rods 21 for easy removal and cleaning purpose.
In sum, the present invention provides an innovative pet brush which enables the brush rods to be adjusted flexibly through the circular shift of positioning and control mechanism by pressing continuously the pressing body.
