Abstract

1343740 Mattresses H M ADLER 10 Jan 1972 [11 Jan 1971] 1029/72 Heading A4M A mattress comprises an upper section 10 supported on a base section 16, both sections including rows of coil springs (14, 26), Fig. 2 (not shown), the base section 16 having a flat top 24 on which is detachably secured a rigid insert 28 extending transversely of the midlength region of the mattress, and the insert 28 being received in a corresponding recess 12 in the underside of the upper section 10. The springs in the base 16 are stiffer than those in the upper section 10.
