[Also in Division B5] A mattress comprises a coil spring core (32) covered on each main face by a layer (24) of felted fibre with an insulating layer comprising a plastics net (22) interposed between each layer (24) and the adjacent face of the core (32). The net (22) is secured either to a border wire (34) by hog rings (36) or to the spring ends by adhesive. The layer (24) may be adhesively secured to its associated net (22).
