1337430 Vaporization chambers for burners COMPAGNIE FRANCIASE DE RAFFINAGE 7 Dec 1970 [5 Dec 1969] 58046/70 Heading FAT In an annular vaporization chamber 1 for a central burner adapted to burn liquefied petroleum gas 4 and thereby heat the chamber directly by flame 8, the chamber being, in operation, at least half filled with gas 6, a liquefied fuel inlet and a gas outlet are defined by the end orifices 5a, 7a of respective tubes 5, 7 parallel to the chamber axis, the orifices 5a, 7a being positioned in or adjacent the central plane of the chamber which plane is perpendicular to the chamber axis and divides the chamber into two equal volumes, the end of the gas outlet tube 7 thus being able to be positioned free of liquefied fuel for any desired orientation of the chamber/ burner assembly. To this end the tubes 5, 7 are interchangeable so that the tube 7 can serve as an inlet and tube 5 as an outlet.
