1328721 Fibre feed to carding machines CONTINENTAL, MOSS-GORDIN Inc 28 April 1971 11792/71 Heading DIN A fibre feed device for feeding a carding machine 12 from an overhead duct comprises a vertical feed chute 14 having a revolving baffle 10 for extracting fibres from the fibreair stream in the duct, a pair of feed rollers 28, 30 passing fibres to a pair of rocking plates 32, 34, and a pair of compression rollers 38, 40 disposed below the rocking plates 32, 34 for feeding the batt from the plates to a carding machine. The plates 32, 34 can be rocked by cams and driven together with compression rollers 38, 40 by the carding machine.
