Abstract

1328667 Air conditioning units A SERRATTO 22 Dec 1970 [24 Dec 1969] 60956/70 Heading F4V A room mounted air conditioning unit comprises cooling and heating heat exchangers 27, 28 respectively positioned in chambers 23, 25 which are separated by a by-pass chamber 24, and a fan 8 which is integrally mounted with a rotatable housing 13, whereby the fan 8 may deliver air to any one or two immediately adjacent chambers, the remaining chamber or chambers being closed by the housing 13. The fan has an electric or hydraulic motor and is resliently mounted within the housing 13. The housing 13 is rotated manually or by an electric, pneumatic or hydraulic servomotor in response to a thermostat. Room air and/or fresh air is drawn into the apparatus through inlets 6 and a filter 7. The unit is mounted vertically on a floor or wall or suspended horizontally from a ceiling. The fan may include two driven by a common central motor.
